6 Months, 60% of SES Distribute iPhone in Indonesia - The high customer needs will be smartphones in Indonesia made a lot of the birth of new distributors. Eka ray Selaras (SES) is one of the relatively new mobile phone distributor in Indonesia market.
SES entered in an Era of Jaya Group already famous in Indonesia. One group of Era Jaya TAM focus is selling the BlackBerry platform. "We are one of two official iPhone distributor in Indonesia. We are distributing or bundling the iPhone with cooperation with XL Axiata," said Lisa Widyawati, Head of Sales & Marketing of SES, in STC Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (27/10/2011) .
"The reason why we chose to distribute the iPhone because it is a relatively high end smartphones, as well as a lot of people liked gadgets segmented although the specifics," he continued,
Since its establishment ie April 2011, SES were more distributors to distribute the iPhone than any other official as well.
"Currently, we have to distribute the iPhone as much as 60 percent in Indonesia, while for other distributors only 40 percent. You could say we were more dominant than they are," he explained.
"Some 30 percent of the distribution spread across Indonesia in Jakarta," he said.
According to GFK data growth of smartphones in Indonesia this year by 65 percent and 5 percent diantarannya an iPhone device.
"From a total of 5 percent growth of the iPhone in Indonesia, 3 percent of which was that we distribute in Indonesia," he explained later.
"Smartphone Market in Indonesia is very potential and continues to grow each year, we believe that the longer it will be more devices that we distribute. We are currently expanding our market penetration and more convincing if our users is a distributor of the best iPhone today," concluded .
